The
Scholarship Committee has just completed its work for the 2008 academic year
and five highly deserving seniors have received financial assistance to
help them continue their higher education.
Congratulations to this years winners:

Kristen Klepac of Jarrell. She will attend Texas A&M to study Political Science.

Angelia Welch of Richarte will attend Austin Community College to study English and Theater.

Lorin Pereira of Georgetown will attend Texas A&M to study Sports Medicine.

Claire Baxter of Georgetown will attend Trinity University to study Mathematics.
-
Jennifer Duke of Georgetown will attend Stanford to study biomedical engineering.
Thus our Kiwanis Club has used some of our service project funds to assist these young people to progress as they become adults in our community.
