Our Club, Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown, was chartered June 24, 1997 and is now approaching 150 members. We are a thriving organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults in Williamson County and around the world.

As the year winds down for me as President of the Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown in 2007 and 2008, I would like to thank each and every one of you personally for making this such a great year.  I think you will agree that our meetings have been fun and uplifting, and there is a fellowship that abounds here among our great group.  We have excelled in so many areas, and now have but one looming need from now to year-end---new members!

To be a Distinguished Club and keep our perfect string alive, we need to end the administrative year September 30 with a net member gain of one.  We began this year with an active membership of 142 members, and while we have had good strides in new members joining, we have also had some drop.  At this moment we need a few more new members to assure our continued Distinguished Club position.

You can help!  Please ask a friend, neighbor, or anyone to join us in our effort to serve this great community and its children.  There are only two more months left to push us over the top.  Please do your part and know that we will be grateful for all you do.
